The Skagit Valley Family YMCA provides exercise, social, and community spaces in a facility focused on visibility, connection, and the YMCA mission. Oriented to the Skagit River, adjacent to the site, the 12,000 SF natatorium and many programming areas offer serene views of wetlands and agriculture.
Important to this community were flexible multipurpose and inter-generational spaces for gathering. Four pickleball courts, a basketball court, a track, and movable bleacher seating are part of the multipurpose gym space. Cardio and group fitness classes are open, sunlit spaces designed for flexible programming. The natatorium features both leisure and instructional pools. Skagit YMCA is certified LEED Silver.
