Interior Designer
10-15+ Years of Experience

We are seeking an innovative Interior Designer that will bring deep experience in the AEC industry and proven success in delivering impactful designs that prioritize sustainability, accessibility, and community well-being.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on significant projects for clients across all our major markets. You will pursue, develop, manage, and execute the design of projects that delight our clients. You’ll balance multiple projects while mentoring junior design staff, and partner with team members and stakeholders across multiple disciplines and verticals.
Among other things, here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Create functional, innovative, and human-centered design solutions.
- Demonstrate expertise and passion for designing spaces.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects and other project stakeholders.
- Present design concepts, progress updates, and solutions in a timely, clear, and visually stimulating manner.
- Contribute to the on-going development/evolution of BCRA design philosophy.
- Advocate for design solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Ideal qualifications we seek in a candidate:
- Bachelor’s Interior Design or Architecture degree.
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture.
- Interior design professional licensure.
- Working knowledge of Revit, as well as InDesign, Sketchup, and Enscape experience.
- Polished verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of comfort in presenting information to clients and teams.
- Approachability and solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with a diverse blend of personalities and stakeholders.
- Ability to serve as project manager of multiple projects at a given time.
- Experience across the entire project process from program development through construction administration.
- Able to lead business development to support building relationships with clients and supporting project teams on project pursuits.
- Experience working on projects with public clients.
The details:
- This is a full-time position based in our Tacoma office. Some regional travel is necessary.

- This position offers 34 days of “all inclusive” PTO in the first year that can be used for reasons important to you.
- The pay range for this position is $115,000 – $125,000.
