5-5 Air Defense Artillery Company Operations Facility
Utilitarian design meets ‘neo-federalist' style

This Design-Build Company Operations Facility shares an Administration Module, a Company Readiness Module, and an Exterior Covered Hardstand between five different companies.
The style of the building is extremely utilitarian for operations functions, while still maintaining compatibility with the ‘neo-federalist' style of the North Fort Lewis campus. Raised gable-roof clerestories introduce natural daylight into the bay spaces, which are book ended by end-walls which correspond to the roof lines of the adjacent barracks facility. The overall effect of the design created a building that is in harmony with surrounding architecture.
BCRA provided Architectural Design, Interior Design (SID and CID), Sustainable Design Services and Air Barrier Consulting and Testing Services.

BCRA designed the 250 acre South
Kitsap Regional Park, which became
a first to pursue a Sustainable Sites
Initiative designation.
