Planning + Resource Management
We translate community visions into effective, actionable plans
Our approach to community planning looks at ways of integrating the views of property owners, residents, businesses and government to advance community development policies on smart, sustainable growth. Our planners and research analysts leverage experience in each sector, private and public, to ensure each recommendation is appropriate and represents the best interests of the clients we serve.
Engaging stakeholders for meaningful conversation
At the heart of our vision are the community members who have a stake in the outcome of our work. We see our role in planning as facilitators. Using the right communication methods and environments, we help ensure a client's outreach objectives are achieved. In partnership with our Visual Communication + Strategy experts, we focus on crafting an effective message, managing public comment and presenting clear results.
Sound research for bold results
BCRA uses geospatial analysis, quantitative and qualitative measurement, and jurisdictional policy review as research tools to inform the planning process. Geographics, demographics and psychographics can affect the outcome of a community plan or site development. Utilizing the latest GIS tools, BCRA can produce compelling and information-driven maps and information graphics that support the planning efforts of communities.
